A once-off pool cleaning service is a deep, thorough cleaning service designed to restore a dirty, green pool to a clean and balanced state in a short period of time. 

Unlike weekly pool maintenance which involves routine cleaning and maintenance, a once off swimming pool cleaning is perfect for pools that have been left unattended for a long period of time and are normally full of leaves, dust or other debris.

Treatment day 1 – The first treatment will be to clear all the debris and leaves on the surface and floor of the swimming pool.  Brush the walls and steps, clean out all the inline baskets at the weir and pump and then add special chemicals to the water.
We also inspect the pool shell for any visible cracks, we check the pool light globe, we open the sand filter to inspect the state of the filter medium and the pool cleaner head and pipes for any replacement.

Treatment day 2 – The second treatment will be to vacuum all the dirt from the floor and steps of the swimming pool. Brush the floor and steps. Skim the surface of the water. Clean out all the inline baskets at the weir and pump and set the timer at the pool DB box to run the pump for 6 to 12 hours per day.

After all the above work has been completed we will test the water and adjust the pH, alkalinity, stabilizer and chlorine levels.  If dirty, we can also clean the mosaic tiles around the inside of the swimming pool. 

We charge a minimum of R1 785 for once off cleaning dirty, green swimming pools up to 20 000L, thereafter 0,09c per 1000L.
